This policy covers getandante.com, the public website. It does not cover the Andante platform itself or Stickets, which have their own policies and their own accounts.
The short version
When you submit the early access form, what you typed is emailed to us, and you are sent a confirmation. The website itself stores nothing.
We use the analytics tools listed below, and only after you accept them.
We do not sell anything about you, we do not share anything with anyone for their own purposes, and there is no advertising network profiling you across other sites from here.
The early access form
The form asks for your name, your email address, the role that describes you and which parts of managing a career you find hardest.
When you submit the early access form, what you typed is emailed to us, and you are sent a confirmation. The website itself stores nothing.
Your answers travel from this site through Cloudflare, which hosts it, to ZeptoMail (run by Zoho), which delivers the two emails: one to us with your answers, one to you confirming the request. ZeptoMail keeps a delivery record, as every email service does, and uses it only to deliver and troubleshoot those emails.
The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person rather than a program is sending it. It loads only when you open the form, looks at signals from your browser rather than asking you to solve a puzzle in most cases, and Cloudflare uses what it collects only for that check.
We use what you tell us for one thing: getting in touch about early access, the launch and how Andante is coming along. We add your email address to our mailing list by hand. Not for anything else, and not by anyone else.
Every marketing email we send will have an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you.
Analytics and advertising
We use the analytics tools listed below, and only after you accept them.
None of them loads until you have accepted it. These are the ones in use:
- Google Analytics 4, to count visits and see which pages people read. It sets identifiers in your browser and records a shortened version of your IP address.
- Microsoft Clarity, which records a replay of how a page was used: scrolling, clicks and mouse movement. Form fields are masked so what you type is never captured, and the replay is of the page, not of you. Clarity also sends an identifier to Microsoft's advertising service at bing.com, which is how Microsoft links a visit here to its own records. We observed it doing this and are telling you because it is a different purpose from measuring the page.
We do not run a Meta pixel. If that changes, this list changes with it, because it is generated from the site's own configuration rather than written by hand.
You are asked once, before any of them run. If you decline, nothing is loaded and you are not asked again on that browser. If you accept and change your mind, clear this site's data in your browser settings and you will be asked again on your next visit.
The site does not respond to Do Not Track, because nothing runs without a yes in the first place.
Cookies and similar storage
The site itself sets no cookies. It stores one value in your browser, remembering whether you accepted or declined analytics, so you are not asked on every page. That value never leaves your device and is not readable by us.
If you accept analytics, the tools listed above set their own cookies and storage, described in their own policies.
Where your data would be held
The website is static files served from a content delivery network, so it is served from wherever is nearest to you. Any early access requests, once we start keeping them, will be held in Canada. Google and Microsoft process what their tools collect on their own infrastructure, which includes the United States.
How long anything is kept
Early access requests, once we start keeping them, until launch and for twelve months after, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first. Analytics data for as long as the tool's own default, which is fourteen months for Google Analytics and thirty days for Clarity replays.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. If you are in the EU, the UK, Quebec or anywhere with equivalent law, those are rights rather than courtesies, and we answer within thirty days.
Ask at [email protected]. If we have nothing, we will tell you that, which today is the likely answer.
Children
This site is for people working in music professionally. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under sixteen.
Changes
If what this site collects changes, this page changes at the same time rather than afterwards. The date at the top is the date it last did.
